About the Student Radio Chart Show
About the Student Radio Chart Show

The Student Radio Chart show broadcasts live across the U.K every Sunday at 3pm.

The chart itself is a top 20 run down of the most played songs on Student radio stations throughout the U.K. Produced by The Student Radio Association, The Student Radio Chart Show it is the only chart show for students by students. Of course the chart is the main talking point of show, but there is loads more to listen out for too including music news and gig guides. The local showcase feature allows the host station to promote bands and artists from their area, introducing them to the rest of the U.K. Each week there is also a Student Radio Association recommend track of the week as well as a label track of the week that promotes up and coming new bands on lesser known record labels.

The SRA Chart on subTV

For a while now, SubTv a student t.v channel that is screened in Unions throughout the UK has been keen to carry the chart on their screens, and over the Christmas break we have been working on how this vision (excuse the pun) can become a reality.

Each week leading up to The Student Radio Chart Show on the radio, SubTv will show a one hour long broadcast of The Student Radio Chart Show. It will comprise of some of the videos of the tracks from the Student Radio Chart linked together by a presenter who will represent the host station of that week.
