Now enjoying its 15th year of existence the station has developed over the years to become a joint project between De Montfort University and its Students' Union.

Station Founded 1995
Demon Fm was founded in what is now The Polar Bear in 1995 to give the students of De Montfort University the opportunity to express their views and opinions to the whole of Leicester.
Now running a Community License which was obtained in 2008, Demon FM continue to produce local radio programming for the youth of Leicester.
